The Ministry For the Future by Kim Stanley Robinson This one feels so on-target for our loose collective, surely others have read and enjoyed it! Claire and Rich, looking at you. It is technically a sci-fi novel, but very dry and procedural and about technologies that we could have now or soon in th...

Re: Fun things to do with your face

It's very basic but my hair and scalp have been loving witch hazel. Once a week or so, I soak my head and hair in sea buckthorn oil overnight and shampoo in the AM--makes it soft as a bunny, even in hard water. Because of this board, I picked up some serums in July and it's made such a huge differen...

Re: what are you watching?

I saw the Green Knight twice! I really connected with it and found it life-affirming and uplifting. Themes of accepting love even when you feel you don't deserve it, finding something true even though you're a complete coward, life as infinite cycles. Visually, I liked that there were no scenes lit ...

I'm a bit late, but I hope the moon sight project finds its way to reality somehow. So many monster-invasion dreams for me, all so similar. Shamier Anderson is highly crushable. I've seen him stand out in some supporting roles but he will be the lead in a new sci-fi series, Invasion, later this year. He's a tall hunk with a killer smile and a "it's the quiet ones you gotta watch out for" mystique.
