It does come off easily! Supposedly that is a feature not a bug. Have you tried scraping it down to a surface? I use a wooden popsicle stick and scrape the Gesu out of it.

So far I have used it on notebook covers, on top of glossy papers, and on the wood edge of a shelf.

I have some washi tape that I use straight-up for wrapping presents. Show the seams!

I made a few tiny shirt-pocket notebooks. Folded postcards in half and sewed little folios of printer paper inside with my sewing machine, then braided the thread tails to make a little bookmark. Trés cute!
