Dismantle Mail Club

Inspired by a thoughtful New Years' card from our own @infopetal, I thought: wouldn't it be cute to have a Dismantle Mail Club? Nothing too high pressure, just a nice opportunity to put our penmanship/vintage postcard collections to use brightening a fellow Dismantler's day!

I haven't entirely thought through the mechanics of this. Maybe since @joni and I are the common IRL friend link between us all, I can serve as clearinghouse? Whoever wants to participate let me know (in this thread here or via Dismantle DM/other electronic communications medium) and I'll send your mailing address to another trusted Dismantler.

Update: you've all been contacted and assigned your first Dismantle Mail Club penpals. You will be receiving mail from a second, mystery Dismantler. Is this a chain letter?? Also I forgot to include myself so I'll just be sending you all postcards.

I just made a run of postcards of this collection of frog egg pics. It's something I made last spring as an assignment from a photo org that was gathering 'working in quarantine' material from various artists. I <3 the internet for vicarious experiences, and this is how I got deep into feeling spring 2020.
I'd love to send one to any board person who wants one, but there isn't really a private way to get me your addresses if we don't know each other? You could send them to me through Claire, or get my email address from her?

PS @meadows the Dismantle Message Board has Private Messages, which you can use to communicate privately with any board member of your choice. One of the many advanced features of this platform, along with "pictures that dither (sometimes)" and "remember when at-replies worked?"
