I've only dressed up a couple times so far in life. This is from the time we went as different art movements. I was pretty inspired by the Rococo theme in the left side, two people in, behind the art nouveau lady.

Oooh I love those chess heads! That's my bag! I always wait too long to decide my Halloween costume—it's kind of like choosing a karaoke song, for me. The really good ones come too late.

In the past I've pulled off a decent Annie Lennox, though.

My all time fave was 4th grade fervent request to be a french clown, for reasons that no one knew and I can't remember. I had the black and white silky pajama suit with the big neck ruffle, a beret, and a painted face. I felt... powerful. My peers.... confused.

I'm still haunted by the tiny child dressed as Ironic Tr*** I saw in 2016. And in the same neighborhood, the most smart-assed 10yo you ever saw with a silver pyramid as a head: "I'm the Illuminati"
