Plugging! https://abrahamingle.bandcamp.com/album/fields Today I am releasing my most recent album, the first under my real name. Music is very hard for me to put out because I am not "good" at it but have been compelled to make it my whole life. I like making it and love/hate finishing it...

Re: Portland Area Safe Eats and Drinks?
Ish... The problem with most of them is the narrow ways of getting in and out. Mostly they fail to meet criteria 1 and 4 (the hardest): 1. Regulars who respect masks and distancing. 4) Have people who enforce it. The new John's Marketplace is the best of them so far, but you still end up closer to p...

Portland Area Safe Eats and Drinks?
Right now there is only one place I know of that I feel good/safe about going to for a beer or a meal. I'd love to hear if you've found one. The "Abe" approved one is the Gladstone Pub in Portland. It features: 1. Regulars who respect masks and distancing. 2. Properly spaced tables 3. You ...

Re: 2020
My biggest achievement, education wise, was remodeling our bathroom. What I initially though would be a simple 1 week case of "unhooking, replacing, and rehooking plumbing, wherein all I would have to learn is plumbing, ended up being so much more: Drywall, demo, electrical, replumbing, carpent...

Re: Dismantle Distributed Virtual Thanksgiving -- Starts NOW!
I've been living the Bong life for a while. First one (since my 20s) was an impulse purchase when I realized that what was once an expensive thing to get was now something I could easily afford. Usually we go to my partner's family in Santa Barbara for Thanksgiving but this year we are staying in Po...

I didn't sleep at all on Tuesday night, but the next day I started doing some wellness and it has been better since then: Mediation on Headspace (they have some free ones about elections stress). It has personally totally turned me around. Being in PDX can be a bummer with national elections, because our votes are so undervalued both for primary and for general, so this is a way for me to make a difference.

I am in Portland and I am feeling.... okay? The police sponsored violence is terrible and bad. I have turned to ancient history to help me feel better. I'd much rather deal with urine drinking proud boys than the Assyrians. Those guys were really scary. I have been doing the following to lift my moo...

Yes. It is crowded at all hours. I've had to get creative for my runs and sanity strolls as I am between it and Holgate. The residents of Loretta's first cousin down the street (both the SRO and 1 bedroom people) are not distancing at all and that whole end of my block is crowded during the day.

I pulled apart the visible plumbing under the sink in order to determine that No, we can't fix the slow drain ourselves. Made me feel like a real man.
